Le chœur
Ensemble Vocal Syrinx
Créé en 1992 et dirigé pendant vingt ans par Errol Girdlestone, l’Ensemble Vocal
Syrinx est à présent sous la direction de Giulio Magnanini, pianiste et chef de
chœur. Il comprend une quarantaine de choristes amateurs confirmés.
Sa spécificité est de réunir des choristes venant de multiples horizons.
Son
répertoire est varié, allant du classique au contemporain, et permet de faire
découvrir ou redécouvrir des œuvres originales ou peu entendues.
Depuis sa création, l’EVS s’est présenté dans divers festivals de musique
sacrée, et participe aussi à des concerts caritatifs : Téléthon, Rotary, Monaco
Aide et Présence (MAP), et à des fêtes privées.
A
travers le travail partagé, c’est le plaisir de chanter en chœur dans la
convivialité qui motive les choristes. Tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre ces
moments forts sont invités à nous rejoindre.

The Choir
Ensemble Vocal Syrinx
Created in 1992 and for twenty years directed by Errol
Girdlestone, the Ensemble Vocal Syrinx is now directed by Giulio
Magnanini, pianist and choir master. The choir has around forty members,
all experienced amateurs.
EVS is notable for bringing together singers of
different nationalities and from different walks of life.
The choir has a varied repertoire, from classic to
contemporary, and the singers - and their audiences - can discover or
rediscover new or seldom-performed works.
Since its creation, the EVS has performed in a variety
of festivals of sacred music, and also participates in charity events
such as the Téléthon, Rotary Club, Monaco Aide et Présence, and at
private events.
The choristers are motivated by the challenge of
learning new pieces, and by the shared pleasure of making beautiful
music. Those who would like to join the choir in these exciting moments
will be enthusiastically welcomed.
